IV. Day 5




10: Ten of Pentacles
= Wealth, Affluence, permanence, convention

Prosperity, security, financial stability, domestic contentment, and riches. Wealth may be increased by detailed attention to communications. 



enjoying affluence
having material abundance
being free from money problems
enjoying business success
feeling financially secure
seeing your ventures flourish
having a run of good fortune
seeking permanence
looking for a solution that will last
creating a lasting foundation
feeling secure as things are
being concerned with the long-term
having an orderly family life
moving beyond makeshift arrangements
nailing down the plan
following convention
staying within established guidelines
proceeding according to the rules
taking part in traditions
becoming part of the Establishment
being conservative
trusting in the tried-and-true

        continuing in known patterns 

4: Four of Pentacles
= Greed, Possessiveness, control, blocked change

Love of material wealth, miserly, greedy fear of financial scarcity, and clinging to possessions. The need  to stay grounded and keep what you have. Sensible personal security and good boundaries. 

Don't be stubborn. Instead of ego, some control is valuable. In chaotic situation, a firm hand is needed to provide structure and organization. He asks you to weigh carefully the level of control in your situation. The lesson of this card is that control is impossible. We stand in the world as in a green ocean. Who could manage or possess such power? The only way to keep from drowning is to ride the currents. The ocean will support us as long as we swim with the flow.

9: Hermit
= Inner quest, Introspection, searching, guidance, solitude

A time to look within and be alone. This is not a social time, but instead a period of silent reflection and solitary quest for inner vision. This card is easy to accept for the introvert who enjoys solitude, meditation, and quiet walks. But it may represent a challenge for an extrovert who enjoys attention, activity, or interaction with many comanions. To accept the HERMIT'S way leads to wisdom. 

He seeks answers within. Answers do not lie in the external world, but in ourselves. "Seek, and ye shall find".
